Awards for Modern Apprentices at the NAFC event

Two of our Modern Apprentices were awarded for their achievements at the NAFC's annual awards ceremony in 2017. Click here to see details of the awards.

Duncan Stewart of Tait Electronics completed his Modern Apprenticeship in 2016 and was awarded the NAFC Modern Apprentice of the Year (Engineering Prize) after completing 2 SVQs in both Electronic and Electric Engineering. During his time at the NAFC he achieved 4 NCs which involved investing a lot of his own time.

Stuart Smith, a second year Modern Apprentice at HNP, was awarded the Jim Thomas Memorial Trophy. He was complimented for his all round ability and was commended in particular for his final project where he constructed a bale lifter for his tractor.

Well done to both our apprentices for their success at the awards.
