Welding/Fabrication apprenticeships at Ocean Kinetics

Ocean Kinetics are looking to recruit two apprentices to commence training in September 2018.

We are looking for candidates with an interest in engineering coupled with good communication skills and an enthusiastic, can-do attitude. You will become part of an ambitious company with a committed workforce and need to be able to demonstrate the ability to contribute to a strong team working ethic. You will need to be able to maintain good time keeping and have the self-discipline to complete your college based training which is an important component of the apprenticeship.

You will need to complete an application form and send it to Train Shetland (Do not send forms directly to Ocean Kinetics). Forms are available from the Train Shetland website, the Train Shetland office, or you can request one on the number of email above. Please do not send CVs as they will not be accepted.

Completed application forms need to be returned by 31 May 2018.

Successful candidates in this process will be invited to complete a two week work placement trial at our Lerwick facilities in the summer. On completion of this trial period we will select the final two recruits.
